Flight to freedom

03 Oct 2004, Seamus

I have to admit, that I was a bit tired when Hanneka knocked on our door at 7am to wish us well and leave for her bus to Puno.

I have to admit that I wasn't much more awake when we left for the airport and our flight to Lima.

Breakfast part 1 was a chunk of Cherezo, breakfast part 2 was in the airport and a hamburger. Lunch was airline food of a hot cheese and ham sandwich whilst cruising over the Andes.

It was good to be back in Lima. No protests and a Burger King, though not until we had checked in, met an American couple from Little Rock Arkansas who told us about dune boarding in Ica and then a bit of Internet time. Dinner was a Whopper Argentine, burger with cherezo. All my meals today seemed to be variations on a theme.

How is it possible that you can eat so many burgers in Puru!? Did you see Elvis whilst you were there too? ;-)
